As a licensed mental health counselor, and certified nutritionist (CN), in the state of Washington, my practice helps people heal their relationships to nourishment, pleasure, movement, and self-care for their bodies so they can spend more time doing whatever actually feeds their spirit. I love what I do. It's an honor to walk with clients as we listen to their bodies and start to tell the story of their body and what it's been through. The work of reclaiming an intuitive relationship to food and body is a long road, and I see my role as supportive and open; I bear witness to each of my client's unique values and offer gentle guidance in the form of reflections, questions, as well as up-to-date food science and resources. No two relationships to food and body look the same, nor should they. I approach this work from a weight-inclusive, fat-positive, anti-racist lens around which I am consistently learning from voices more marginalized than my own.
