I am so glad you are here! My name is Emma, and I am a licensed clinical social worker. I am currently licensed in Tennessee and Florida (telehealth only in FL). I have 6 years of experience in the field working in various outpatient and community-based roles working with children, teens, and adults. I currently offer individual therapy for ages 13 and up. My primary specialties are complex trauma, medical trauma, which includes chronic illness and chronic pain support, burnout + compassion fatigue, and ADHD. Other areas of interest are anxiety disorders, ADHD, women's issues, and life transitions. I am formally trained in EMDR for trauma therapy and the EMDR + IFS model created by Dr. Kendhal Hart. In addition to individual therapy, I also offer ADHD evaluations for ages 18 and up. I am an eclectic therapist, meaning I pull from different therapy modalities to uniquely tailor each client's therapy to align with their goals. Humans aren't one size fit all, so your therapy shouldn't be either! My favorite therapy modalities are EMDR, internal family systems (IFS), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and person-centered therapy. I also utilize cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy, strengths-based therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT). In my free time, I love spending time with my dogs, Ellie and Roxie, (who you will absolutely see during virtual sessions!), playing guitar, spending time with friends and family, and crafting.
