Life often brings us curveballs, transitions, or difficulties that even when we foresee them coming, affect us in ways we don’t always know how to handle. Wading through difficult challenges in life, processing new circumstances, and overcoming what can feel insurmountable should not be a journey that you go alone. I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship and utilize a strengths-based approach to support my clients through whatever may come their way. Whether you’re stepping into a new role in life, attempting to heal from past wounds or difficulties, or navigating challenges that you’ve yet to find a solution to, it would be my honor to walk and talk alongside you in your journey. I have experience working with children (8+), adolescents, families, and adults of all backgrounds with a focus on life transitions and trauma-informed care. My therapeutic style is a combination of CBT, TBRI, and a variety of evidence-based techniques to provide you with new skills, develop further insight on yourself and your past, and walk alongside you on your life journey in way that is authentic to you. I received my Master of Social Work from Samford University and am passionate about partnering with my clients through whatever may come. Outside of my time as a therapist, I enjoy spending time with my family, working out, cooking, or spending time outside whenever possible. In my own journey, I have found that healing comes in short small steps through everyday choices and changes. It would be my honor to come alongside you in your everyday healing.
