Introduction

I work with people online worldwide and in person in Asheville, NC. Send me a message to schedule a free, confidential consultation call. You can also find out more about me at https://www.somaticspiritualcounseling.com/ I work with people navigating anxiety, major life transitions, trauma, and the deep work of becoming more authentically themselves. Maybe you're dealing with an inner critic that won't quiet down, moving through a spiritual emergence that feels disorienting, or you just know something needs to shift but aren't sure how to get there. My approach blends body-based trauma work (Somatic Experiencing™) with contemplative practice and depth psychology, because lasting change happens at the level of the nervous system, not just the mind. I hold a Master of Divinity from Naropa University and I'm an interfaith chaplain and certified meditation instructor. My training includes work with Rabbi Zvi Ish-Shalom, Reggie Ray, Lama Tsultrim Allione, and Diane Poole Heller, and I currently teach in Naropa's Master of Divinity program. I've provided care in hospital, yoga, synagogue, and private practice settings. What matters most to me isn't the modality — it's meeting you exactly where you are. My clients often tell me they've made more progress in months of this work than in years of previous therapy. I'd be honored to walk this next part of your journey with you.
