Introduction

Emmett is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant (CDCA) in the state of Ohio and received his Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with an Addictions Certificate from Kent State University. Emmett is certified in LGBTQ+ Affirmative Counseling and passionate about working with this community. He believes in fighting for social justice and equity and is a fierce advocate for his clients. He has previously worked with LGBTQ+ individuals ages 6-70+, but he is currently only accepting teens and adults. Emmett believes that each client has the strength and abilities to live their best lives, and he works with each client individually to help them discover their potential. Emmett specializes in working with trauma, addictions, LGBQ+ Transgender Issues, and can write WPATH letters. In addition, he is an active member of SAIGE OH, formerly co-chair of the Government Relations Committee (GRC), and current Chair of the Education Committee. In addition to the LGBTQ+ population, he has experience and training working with individuals and family members of the military, individuals from different cultures, kink, and those in the ethical non-monogamous/poly community.
