My name is Emonie Robinson, MSW, ACSW and I am a Pre-Licensed Clinical Therapist (PCLT) passionate about supporting clients within the BIPOC community. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and African American Studies and a Master’s in Social Welfare from UCLA, where I am currently pursuing my Doctorate in Social Welfare. My background also includes community-based research, advocacy, and resource mapping. In therapy, I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Somatic, and Mindfulness-Based practices. I also incorporate yoga-informed and body movement therapies that encourage clients to reconnect with their physical selves as part of the healing process (per client request).
