Introduction

Your history, culture, and lived experiences are powerful parts of who you are—but they don't have to dictate your future. Healing from trauma isn’t just about changing how we think; it’s about changing how we feel in our own skin. As a psychotherapist of color with over 20 years of experience as a Clinical Social Worker, I understand that trauma is often both personal and systemic, living in the nervous system long after a stressful event has passed. I specialize in working with adults who feel "stuck" in cycles of anxiety, shutdown, or chronic stress. Together, we will gently yet intentionally uncover the root of your struggles, moving at a pace that honors your capacity so you can move beyond survival mode and reclaim a sense of ease, agency, and authentic connection. My Approach Our work is deeply collaborative and anchored entirely in your personal values and goals. Because real growth requires looking honestly at the patterns that no longer serve you, my approach includes gentle confrontation. This isn't about judgment; it is a compassionate, supportive invitation to challenge the beliefs holding you back, holding you accountable only to the growth you desire. To support your healing on every level—mind, body, and spirit—I weave together somatic (body), relational, and trauma-informed practices. My practice integrates Somatic Experiencing (SE), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Perinatal Mental Health. Services & Availability Sessions are fully available in English, Spanish, or Spanglish —whichever language feels most like home to you. Telehealth: Available for residents across California and Washington. In-Person: Available at my Fresno, CA, office. Ready to Begin? If you are ready to build a path toward a more fulfilling future, please contact me to request a complimentary 15-minute consultation or schedule your initial appointment.
