With particular interests in stress management, habit improvement, mindfulness, and symptom reduction, our work together will help you confront and address aspects of life that may be barriers to you. I have experience working with anxiety, depression, PTSD, life transitions, ADHD, gender identity, and LGBTQ+ issues, among others. I provide a personal, warm approach to therapy informed by cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), positive psychology, mindfulness, and attachment theory. In my previous career I was an elementary school teacher for 12 years. My experiences in the public schools have given me unique perspective on the challenges that adolescents and young adults face today. I am also a dad, husband, musician, and part-time radio show host.
