I work with adults, couples, and teens to help untangle challenges that feel overwhelming or hard to name, using a relational, trauma-informed, and evidence-based approach. With a background spanning clinical mental health counseling, psychology, philosophy, sociology, and doctoral training in educational psychology, I view concerns through emotional, relational, and systemic lenses rather than focusing only on symptoms. I specialize in trauma work, relationship therapy, finding clarity and understanding, and I do enjoy working with and supporting teens. I integrate support through a diverse mixture of approaches to maximize benefit - whether that is EMDR, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Attachment Theory, Gottman Method, CBT, DBT, CPT (Cognitive Processing Therapy for Trauma) or creative interventions. Therapy with me is collaborative, honest, and tailored to you—structured yet flexible, with room for warmth, discovery, focus, humor, and challenge when helpful. The first session focuses on grounding, understanding your story, and clarifying goals so you leave feeling heard, supported, and confident in our plan to journey forward.
