I am Dr. Erica Weitz, a clinical psychologist specializing in the treatment of OCD, anxiety, and trauma, with expertise in women’s emotional wellness and the perinatal period. I specialize in helping people who have the tendency to worry, have intrusive and distressing thoughts and behaviors, and those who experienced trauma and are looking for help coping with emotional distress. I also specialized in supporting individuals through pregnancy and postpartum including those navigating anxiety, intrusive thoughts, trauma, infertility, and the emotional complexities of becoming a parent. My hope is to work collaboratively with you to help you find ways to live a fuller life in line with what is most important to you. My approach is compassionate, curious, and integrative; it is both evidence-based and client-centered with a focus on helping each individual identify and meet their own specific therapy goals. I use treatments such as Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD and CBTs for trauma and PTSD, anxiety, and depression, while integrating other approaches to support meaningful and lasting change. My work is deeply informed by my years as faculty at the University of Pennsylvania, combined with a flexible approach aimed at what is most helpful to you. Whether you are seeking relief from specific symptoms, support through a difficult transition, or a deeper understanding of yourself, therapy can help you move toward meaningful and positive change. If you’re considering therapy, I’d be happy to connect and see if it feels like a good fit. I currently provide therapy both in person in Philadelphia and virtually in PSYPACT states.
