I am a gay man originally from Colombia with a deep passion for ceramics, healing, and self-expression. I believe healing rarely happens in isolation; it grows through genuine human connection, curiosity, and compassion. I once heard, "The past is not where we think we left it." Trauma, grief, and abuse can hold space in our bodies and minds, leaving traces through intrusive memories, intense reactions, difficult emotions, and patterns that can be hard to understand. As a Master of Social Work intern, I specialize in supporting those touched by trauma and the enduring marks of grief, domestic violence, and childhood abuse. Rather than trying to eliminate difficult emotions, my approach creates space for those that often demand to be felt, understood, and processed. My work is trauma-informed and draws from parts work informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS), Trauma Incident Reduction (TIR), client-centered therapy, DBT, and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). I enjoy working with adults, couples, adolescents, and the LGBTQIA+ community in both English and Spanish. Wherever you are in your journey, I hope to create a space where you can feel seen, understood, and supported as we take the next steps together.
