Introduction

Do you feel weighed down by trauma, anxiety, OCD, or depression that makes it hard to enjoy life, relationships, or even day-to-day routines? Many people come to counseling hoping to understand their past, regulate emotions, and find relief from patterns that continue to shape their lives. You’re not alone, and healing is possible. Taking the first step can feel intimidating, but it is also a courageous move toward meaningful change. My goal is to help clients feel more grounded, confident, and in control of their lives. I specialize in trauma, anxiety, and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), working with individuals, young adults, couples, and families. Many mental health challenges stem from unprocessed pain rooted in earlier life experiences. Through structured guidance and compassionate support, I help clients uncover root causes, build self-awareness, and develop skills that foster resilience, healthier patterns, and stronger relationships. Therapy is always collaborative and tailored to your goals, circumstances, and strengths. I utilize carefully selected, evidence-based approaches, including Eye-Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFBT), Exposure Response Prevention (ERP), and a value-based approach. My style blends clarity, structure, and practical tools with warmth, collaboration, and deep person-centered care. Whether you’re facing intrusive thoughts, grief, identity concerns, relationship challenges, or life transitions, therapy is about more than coping—it’s about building insight, confidence, and lasting change. I hold a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy with distinction (4.0) from Capella University and a Bachelor of Science in Marriage and Family Studies from Brigham Young University–Idaho. I was born and raised in Northern San Diego County, California, and currently live in Cedar City, Utah with my family, with plans to move to Eastern Idaho in the future. Outside of counseling, I enjoy learning languages, PC gaming, designing websites, exploring the outdoors, and personal growth. If you’re ready to start your journey to brighter paths, I’d be honored to walk with you.
