Hello! I'm Erin Bickley, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCPT) based in Atlanta, GA. I am passionate about helping individuals navigate their unique journeys towards healing and self-discovery. I earned my Bachelor's degree from Wake Forest University and my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Georgia State University. Utilizing a Psychodynamic and Trauma-Focused (TF) foundation, I integrate various modalities in my psychotherapy practice (including Client-Centered, Existential-Humanistic, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) depending on the needs of the individual. Above all, I strive to create a safe and supportive environment where you can explore your inner world and find within yourself the answers that you seek. Since 2016, I have dedicated my practice to working with clients facing depression, anxiety, trauma, codependency, and family dysfunction. I work closely with LGBTQIA+ individuals and Adult Children of Alcoholics and Dysfunctional Families (ACA). Additionally, I specialize in helping those who have experienced narcissistic abuse, providing a space to develop self-compassion and self-trust which are instrumental in healing and growth. I believe human beings have the capacity to make meaning out of adversity, grow through grief and pain, and create a sense of purpose in their lives. My role is to meet you where you are, bear witness to your story, then support you as you uncover your truth and begin to navigate life's challenges in ways that feel meaningful to you. I am LGBTQIA+ affirming, ensuring that my practice is inclusive and welcoming to all. When you work with me, you can expect a collaborative and empathetic approach. I am honored to walk alongside you on your journey, offering insights and tools to help you gain clarity, set boundaries, develop inner peace and self-awareness, and improve your overall sense of well-being. If you feel ready to take the next step towards becoming the next version of yourself, I invite you to reach out. Together, we can work towards you meeting yourself fully and living your truth proudly and peacefully.
