Introduction

Erin is a Licensed Independent Social Worker with a Supervision endorsement and the founder of Thoughtful Growth Therapy LLC. With over 10 years of experience supporting autistic and neurodivergent individuals, Erin is deeply committed to guiding you through the journey of growth and self-discovery. Drawing on evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Erin collaborates with clients to build on their inherent strengths while developing practical tools for navigating life’s challenges. Erin’s professional journey began at The Ohio State University Nisonger Center's Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (LEND) program, where she received specialized interdisciplinary training focused on intellectual and developmental disabilities. She then worked for six years at Nationwide Children’s Hospital's Center for Autism Spectrum Disorders, providing outpatient psychotherapy. Erin later returned to the Nisonger Center as the Senior Clinical Social Work Manager for the Ace and Aspirations program, where she supported college-age students in their transition to adulthood. Whether you’re navigating long-standing struggles or embarking on a significant life transition—such as starting college or a new job—Erin is here to walk alongside you in your process of growth, helping you manage stress and thrive.
