THERAPEUTIC PHILOSOPHY Whether you are managing your career/school/home, nurturing relationships, experiencing mental or physical health changes, or embracing the responsibility of caregiving, these demands can feel overwhelming at times, leaving individuals physically, emotionally, and spiritually exhausted. I believe every individual possesses innate, God-given strengths with the capacity for growth, healing, and positive change. My core philosophy centers around creating a safe, nonjudgmental, and collaborative environment where clients feel valued and empowered to explore their experiences, express their emotions, and develop new coping strategies that fit their individual needs. PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND With over two decades of experience as a mental health therapist, I have worked with clients of all ages with a wide range of complex issues, including, but not limited to, anxiety, ADHD, trauma, mood disorders, chronic illness, life transitions, and neurodivergent processing challenges. At this point in my career, I have found that my most impactful and fulfilling work lies in working with adults who face such challenges while balancing the intricate demands of modern life. THERAPEUTIC APPROACH I utilize various methods rooted in trauma-informed, evidence-based practices. I strive to ensure that treatment is tailored to meet each individual’s distinct needs and goals in a way that honors their values and beliefs. I don’t shy away from being direct when necessary, and I enjoy incorporating humor into the therapeutic process. I am committed to empowering my clients to navigate life’s challenges with resilience, confidence, and hope. I consider it an honor to be part of their journey toward improved well-being and greater life satisfaction. I invite you to come as you are to be truly seen and heard. When we are permitted to show up as we are—messy, complicated, unsure—we create the conditions for real change.
