I received my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from The New School for Social Research in 2014. After training in a variety of clinical settings across New York City, I completed my Postdoctoral Fellowship at Mount Sinai’s World Trade Center Mental Health Program (WTCMHP), which serves responders to the 2001 World Trade Center attacks. I went on to serve as Assistant Director of Psychology at the WTCMHP, where I provided clinical services, supervised psychology trainees and faculty, and assisted with program development. I have expertise in treating trauma-related disorders, addressing difficulties in interpersonal relationships, and supporting individuals who are managing chronic and terminal medical illnesses. I am a New York State licensed clinical psychologist, and a registered out-of-state telehealth provider for the state of Florida (https://flhealthsource.gov/telehealth/). TELEMENTAL HEALTH I have training in the complexities of providing remote psychotherapy, and am a Certified Telebehavioral Health Practitioner through the Telebehavioral Health Institute. I understand that high quality TeleMental Health services requires more than two individuals on a video chat, and support patients in creating a therapeutic space from a distance. All video sessions are conducted via an easy-to-use, encrypted, HIPAA-compliant video platform. IN-PERSON VISITS I offer in-person visits in Brooklyn, New York. INSURANCE I am an out-of-network provider for most insurance plans. I provide superbills to my patients to submit to their insurance companies. I am an external provider through Mount Sinai's World Trade Center Program.
