Introduction

For anyone searching for an ally in approaching the challenges of life, choosing therapy can be a great option. Some of the issues I work on are trauma, depression, anxiety, ADHD. I specialize in working with individual adults, adolescents, families (parent-child focus), and athletes. Another specialty is helping individuals and families from adolescence to adulthood in navigating neurodivergence, especially as related to Autism. I welcome folks from any walk of life, though my practice is explicitly anti-racist, LGBTQQ+ positive, disability-conscious, and cognizant of systemic harm. I can also offer affordable LLMSW supervision. From a starting point of listening, I use a collaborative approach to figure out what a person needs, wants, and how to get there. Therapy approaches include CBT, DBT, Mindfulness, EMDR, ACT, and Collaborative Problem Solving. I also hold a Certificate in Sport Social Work from the U of M School of Social Work, learning from Abigail Eiler and Greg Harden. As a licensed clinical social worker with over two decades of experience in the helping professions, I've learned that developing safety in the therapeutic relationship is a vital starting point. My primary values are solidarity, non-judgment, and non-violence, and I believe in employing evidence-based strategies to help people achieve their goals.
