I was raised in The Bronx, NY and have been a Washington resident for over 40 years. My journey into counseling grew from close to 50 years of experience in personal growth education and a deep belief in the human capacity to heal, grow, and create meaningful change. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts from Purchase College, NY and my Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from City University of Seattle. I completed my clinical internship at reSTART, an internet and gaming addiction treatment center, and am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Washington State. I work with adults experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, stress, relationship concerns, and significant life transitions. I am also an Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) practitioner and incorporate ART when appropriate to help clients process distressing experiences and reduce the emotional impact of difficult memories. I take a person-centered, collaborative approach to therapy. I believe you can benefit from having someone who will listen without judgment, offer guidance or a new perspective, and help you better understand yourself. My goal is to create a supportive space where you can feel heard, develop greater self-understanding, and find practical ways to move toward the life and relationships you want.
