Introduction

Evangeline’s connection to the military — as a child of a service member, an Air Force veteran, and a military spouse — has shaped her deep appreciation for the resilience and strength within every individual and community. As a systemic therapist, she considers the whole person, recognizing how physical health, relationships, social environments, and support systems can influence women’s mental health and well-being. Her approach is rooted in Solution-Focused Brief Therapy and informed by trauma and attachment theories. She uses a strengths-based, collaborative approach to help individuals, couples, and families navigate relationship difficulties, burnout, anxiety, depression, reproductive trauma, estrangement, and parenting challenges. Evangeline earned a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Seattle Pacific University and her Bachelor’s Degree in Family, Child and Consumer Sciences from Florida State University. She completed her Gottman Method Couples Therapy Level 1 Training in 2017. As a bereaved parent, Evangeline volunteered for several years as a peer support group leader and provided a couples grief workshop for families who experienced pregnancy or infant loss in Washington state. She believes meaningful change is possible when people feel seen, supported, and empowered to draw upon their own strengths, and works alongside her clients to identify practical pathways forward and create lasting change.
