I am a clinical social worker who approaches therapy as a collaborative, relational process grounded in respect for each person’s lived experience. My work is informed by a systems-oriented perspective, recognizing that our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are shaped not only by individual history, but by relationships, culture, identity, access to resources, and broader social and structural conditions. I draw from cognitive-behavioral, dialectical-behavioral, and narrative approaches, integrating practical skill-building with space for reflection and meaning-making. I believe people carry inherent strengths and multiple stories about themselves, including ones shaped by resilience and possibility, and that meaningful change occurs when clients feel understood within the full context of their lives. I approach therapy with curiosity rather than judgment and view clients as the experts of their own experiences. I am attentive to the ways identity, culture, family, and systemic pressures shape daily life, and I welcome open conversation about what feels helpful, challenging, or unclear in the therapeutic process. Feedback is always encouraged, and therapy can move at a pace that feels sustainable and supportive.
