Hi! I'm Fai (/fay/). I believe that our experiences in society aren't one-size-fits-all, nor should our therapy be. I aim to support those impacted by queerphobia, racism, ableism, fatphobia, adoption, and other oppressive systems which contribute to mental health difficulties, poor self-regard, and complex trauma. Together, I hope we can challenge negative core beliefs, deconstruct the experiences that led to their development, and cultivate an authentic, compassionate sense of self. I primarily work with the queer/trans community, people of color, adoptees, and neurodivergence (ADHD/ASD/etc). I am especially interested in seeing adoptees and transracial adoptees to unpack the effects of adoption trauma. I'm also trained in evaluating and writing letters for gender-affirming surgery, and can provide this service on a sliding scale. My goal is for therapy to be collaborative, consent- and autonomy-based. You are the expert of your life; I'm just another human, helping you clarify what you want your journey to look like, and accompanying, supporting, and empowering you along the way. I'm grateful for the opportunity to hear your story, and I welcome you to reach out with any questions!
