You deserve a therapist who can handle the heavy things with steadiness, clarity, and compassion. My path into this work began in 2018, when I opened my private practice with a commitment to helping people heal from trauma in a way that feels safe, grounded, and empowering. Before stepping fully into the clinical world, I served over 34 years in law enforcement, including command‑level work in homicide. That career taught me how people respond under extreme stress, how trauma shows up in the body, and how resilience can be built even in the hardest circumstances. It also taught me how to stay calm, steady, and fully present when someone needs support the most. After retiring from law enforcement, I spent four years as a Clinical Director, supporting clinicians, shaping treatment programs, and ensuring clients received high‑quality, trauma‑informed care. That leadership experience strengthened my ability to guide both clients and teams through complex emotional landscapes. After advancing from the role of Clinical Director, I spent two years working in a state psychiatric clinic, supporting individuals facing significant emotional and behavioral challenges. That experience deepened my understanding of trauma, environment, and human resilience, and it strengthened my ability to stay attuned even when someone is struggling deeply. Today, I’m a master’s‑level psychologist and LLP specializing in trauma, EMDR, and neuroexperiential Brainspotting. I blend CBT, DBT, ACT, psychoanalytic/psychodynamic approaches with practical, everyday tools that help you think more clearly, regulate emotions, and feel more in control of your life. My style is steady, straightforward, and compassionate. I help you understand what’s happening inside you, why it makes sense, and how to move toward the life you want with confidence and clarity. If you’re looking for someone who can hold space for the difficult things without judgment—and help you grow stronger from them—I’m here to walk that path with you.
