I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-S license # 106621) and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC license # 16120) in Texas, and I'm passionate about helping individuals move through the deeper patterns that keep them feeling stuck. I earned my Master's in Social Work from Our Lady of the Lake University, with an emphasis on Hispanic children and families. For the past ten years, I've worked extensively with individuals and families impacted by addiction, trauma, and mental health challenges, work that continues to be deeply meaningful to me. Many of the clients I work with are used to holding it all together on the outside, while internally feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or disconnected. My approach is both compassionate and intentional. I help you explore underlying patterns, challenge unhelpful beliefs, and create meaningful shifts in how you relate to yourself and others. As an experiential and trauma-informed therapist, I believe real change happens when we go beyond surface-level insight and begin to process experiences at a deeper level. This is why I incorporate approaches like EMDR to support lasting healing. Outside of the therapy space, I enjoy cooking, spending time outdoors, hiking and camping with my family, and challenging myself through movement like yoga and strength training. It takes courage to reach out for support, and you don't have to do it alone.
