Introduction

Great to meet you! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Certified School Counselor. I have over 10 years of experience as a teacher and school counselor, with experience in all grade levels Kinder- 12th grade. In addition, I have clinical experience working with children, teens, adults, individuals, and families. I am a graduate of Texas A&M University- College Station with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, and a Master of Education in Guidance and Counseling from Angelo State University. My approach to therapy: I believe that through unconditional positive regard, individuals can feel safe enough to explore their inner thoughts and beliefs. Through this process, I hope that individuals can gain new insights and perspectives while challenging debilitating beliefs and perceptions, which can help people work toward life goals. My style is warm, empathetic, relaxed, and non-judgmental. I have an eclectic counseling style with the foundation in a client-centered approach. What you can expect from me: Clients walk into a warm and nurturing environment. They can expect to be met with compassion, understanding, and support. Building a rapport based on trust and respect allows the client to explore themselves at a deeper level. I am here to guide and encourage my clients. It is my goal that through counseling, they can build their self-esteem and love of themselves to be able to tackle all of life.
