I became a therapist because I've always believed that symptoms are just one part of the story. The real work — the interesting work — is finding the thread that connects everything else. I've been doing this work for over ten years, and my practice has been fully telehealth since 2020 — which means I can meet you wherever you are in Washington State. My approach starts with the whole picture — not just the symptom that brought you here, but everything connected to it. Your relationships, your body, your history, your sense of meaning and purpose. The causes are often more complicated and far-reaching than they first appear. So is the healing. I draw from mindfulness, CBT, and ACT — but I don't work from a script. I follow the thread. I pay attention to what's happening beneath the words, including what your body is carrying that your mind hasn't found language for yet. Real change doesn't begin with fixing anything. It begins with acceptance — of where you are, who you are, and all the parts of yourself you've been trying to outrun. A first session with me isn't about filling out forms or running through a checklist. It's about beginning to listen — to what you've been carrying, and what it might mean. I want you to leave each session with something to carry, something to try, something to bring back.
