I am a board-certified Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and psychotherapist. I maintain a private practice in downtown Jersey City and work in the psychiatric emergency department at Jersey City Medical Center, providing acute crisis intervention. Earlier in my career, I worked in addiction treatment and at a university counseling center. These experiences, together with my current work, shape a flexible and nuanced approach that meets individuals where they are. My clinical focus is helping those who grapple with a range of mental health concerns and life challenges, including anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma-related issues, personality disorders, and adjustment difficulties. What I’ve found most helpful in my work is not any single technique, but the collaborative nature of the relationship we build. When therapy allows for honest exploration of one’s inner world and emotional depth, it can reveal the patterns that keep a person stuck and create the conditions for meaningful, lasting change. My approach is rooted in psychoanalytic principles, though I draw on various modalities to meet each client’s unique needs, recognizing that no single method fits all. After more than a decade in the field of sales and supply chain, I chose to realign my life to better reflect my values and pursue work that feels truly meaningful. My approach is informed by my own personal growth, relationships, professional transitions, and clinical experience. Outside of my profession, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, reading, and practicing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
