I earned my Master of Social Work (MSW) from University of Texas at El Paso and then my Master of Education (M.Ed.)/Applied Behavior Analysis from Arizona State University. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). I have over eight years of experience working with children, adolescents and families in a variety of settings. For six years, I gained experience working with neurodiverse individuals across clinic, home, and school settings, where I tailored Applied Behavior Analysis to support each client’s unique needs. My focus was on building independence, strengthening social skills, and enhancing overall quality of life. Over the past two years, I have expanded my training to include EMDR and Developmental Needs Meeting Strategy (DNMS) to better support clients navigating childhood trauma and attachment wounds. I am passionate about helping clients develop the skills and confidence they need to thrive both at home and in their daily lives. Therapy sessions can focus on helping navigate daily obstacles, developing positive coping methods, as well as boosting self-confidence, and working towards an optimistic future. Sometimes, the whole family may need support while trying to communicate, learn and create boundaries so I can facilitate that as well. I am flexible with scheduling and do my best to accommodate appointments to meet the needs of children and their caregivers with busy lifestyles.
