Hi, my name, is Funke and I am here to walk alongside you, so you don't have to figure it out alone. Life can feel overwhelming during seasons of change. Starting college, entering the workforce, becoming a new mom, or redefining your goals. These transitions can bring excitement, but also stress, uncertainty, and a sense of losing yourself. My passion is to walk alongside young adults, new mothers, and families as they navigate these challenges, rediscover who they are, and build healthier patterns for the future. I provide a safe, supportive space where you can share your story, explore challenges, and discover new ways to cope and grow. My approach is person-centered and trauma-informed, which means our work together is collaborative and focused on your strengths, values, and goals. I often integrate evidence-based practices like CBT and SPARCS while also addressing family systems, helping clients heal relationships and strengthen support networks. My background includes counseling in schools, outpatient clinics, and community settings, where I have supported children, adolescents, adults, and families in managing stress, trauma, anxiety, depression, and major life changes. I’ve also worked with veterans and individuals experiencing homelessness, focusing on helping them rebuild stability and reintegrate into society. My goal is to walk with you on this journey of life, offering encouragement, tools, and insight that help you become your best self. Therapy is not only about addressing challenges, but also about building confidence, finding clarity, and creating a more fulfilling, balanced life. If you’re ready to take the next step, I will be honored to support you.
