Introduction

If you’ve been putting off therapy because you couldn’t find someone who truly gets your experience, I want you to know: that search can end here. I’m a Black male psychologist based in Silver Spring, MD, and I specialize in working with adults — particularly men — navigating depression, anxiety, OCD, trauma, and the weight of life transitions. I understand what it means to carry a lot, to be expected to handle everything, and to struggle in silence. My practice is a space where that changes. Many of my clients are Black men who have never tried therapy before, or who tried it and felt unseen. Others are men of various backgrounds who are ready to stop white-knuckling through hard seasons and start building real tools for the life they want. Whether you’re managing OCD symptoms, processing a painful past, working through relationship stress, or simply feeling stuck — I can help. My approach is direct, strength-based, and grounded in who you actually are. I draw on CBT, psychodynamic therapy, and culturally responsive frameworks, always tailored to you. I also work with couples and families, and offer group therapy for men seeking community alongside individual growth. I practice in Silver Spring and Bethesda, and I offer telehealth across 40+ states through PSYPACT — so geography doesn’t have to be a barrier. If you’re ready to take the first step, I offer a free 15-minute consultation. Reach out by phone or email and let’s talk.
