Gabriel’s approach is rooted in evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness, as well as specialized interventions like Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Narrative Therapy, SPACE therapy, ERP, Polyvagal theory, and RODBT. He tailors his methods to the unique needs of each client, helping them harness their emotions as tools for transformation and growth. As an LGBTQIA+ therapist, Gabe ensures an inclusive and affirming environment for all clients. Gabe holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from Loyola University Chicago and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Illinois. His clinical expertise spans working with youth, emerging adults, families, and individuals managing anxiety, depression, life transitions, and other mental health concerns. Beyond his professional life, Gabriel is passionate about building connections and pursuing new adventures. He enjoys reading, hiking, and board games and is actively involved in equine therapy work in addtion to his clinical practice. Recently, he has been stepping out of his comfort zone by exploring new interests like re-learning the guitar. As a seasoned clinician and former Clinical Program Director, Gabriel is also deeply committed to mentoring future professionals in the field of mental health.
