I work with adults and couples navigating anxiety, emotional reactivity, relationship difficulties, life transitions, and questions of identity and meaning. My clinical experience also includes depression, PTSD, family dynamics, and facilitating men's groups. My background in teaching literature, philosophy, and critical thinking informs how I listen and work. We might examine beliefs and values, explore attachment and relationship patterns, or use IFS-informed parts work to understand conflicting feelings and needs. With couples, I draw from the Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). One of my anchors is "insight informs action; action deepens insight." Our work connects self-understanding with everyday practices: recognizing triggers, building emotional intelligence, and responding more effectively under stress. I'm a husband, father of four, musician, and former college athlete. I offer in-person sessions in Hermosa Beach and telehealth throughout California.
