Introduction

My name is Gabriela Stanley and I am a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I have over ten years of experience in the nursing profession and I started my career as a PMHNP working inpatient psychiatry, treating children, adolescents with ADHD, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Trauma, Disruptive Mood Dysregulation Disorder, and Autism Spectrum Disorder, along with adults with Depression, Anxiety, Suicidal Ideation, Chronic Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Bipolar Disorder, and Psychotic Disorders. I work for the VA and absolutely love helping veteran's that struggle with PTSD, Depression, Anxiety, and co-occurring Substance Use Disorders. I believe that access to mental healthcare should be affordable, accessible, and convenient which is why I offer flexible after hours and weekend availability. I offer psychotherapy services as well, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Acceptance Commitment Therapy because I know that many individuals prefer one provider and one appointment. My goal is to ease accessibility to mental health treatment which is why I offer convenient virtual visits from the comfort of the client's home. My practice is built off principles of mutual respect, shared decision making, and client centered care. I hope that the services I provide have an extensive outreach and help individuals of all different backgrounds. I hope to see you soon! -Gabriela, PMHNP
