Introduction

I’m Gabrielle Gross, LCSW, LCSW-C, founder of Growth Wellness. I started this practice to create a space for care that reflects how people actually grow: nonlinearly, at their own pace, and most beautifully when the environment is supportive and the conditions are right. I specialize in supporting children, adolescents, young adults, and families through a variety of mental health concerns. I believe it is important to take a collaborative approach in navigating challenges and developing the skills and resilience to move forward with healing and empowerment. My goal is for therapy to feel supportive, collaborative, and meaningful, not rigid or one-size-fits-all. Together, we can focus on growth that is sustainable and rooted in what matters most to you. I’ve worked across the spectrum of levels of care, from outpatient therapy to emotional support classrooms, intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization, and wilderness therapy, which has given me a well-rounded perspective on mental health treatment. I draw from a variety of evidenced based practices, including CBT, DBT, ACT, ERP, MI, and IFS. I have experience in treating mood and anxiety disorders, OCD, emetophobia, ADHD/Autism/AuDHD, chronic suicidality and self-injurious behaviors, school avoidance, and family conflict. I am committed to using a trauma-informed lens in my work. I work extensively with neurodivergent and twice-exceptional individuals. I believe it is important to recognize that the strengths and challenges of each person’s unique neurotype shape their identity and life experience in ways that necessitate a tailored, neurodivergent-affirming treatment approach. As a camp counselor, I saw firsthand how kids light up when they feel understood, supported, and encouraged to be their best selves. That experience sparked my passion for working with young people, and I’ve carried that same enthusiasm, playfulness, and creativity into my clinical work. My journey to psychotherapy wasn’t a straight line; after graduate school, I had the unique opportunity to pursue a professional ballet career while practicing as a part-time therapist. Balancing these two passions taught me the art of juggling multiple commitments. These experiences instilled in me the values of grit, discipline, and balance, qualities I now bring into my clinical work to help clients build resilience and work toward their own vision of long-term success. Outside of the office, I engage in community initiatives within Troubled Teen Industry survivor groups, co-facilitate community support groups, and volunteer with my trained therapy dog. -- Education: Columbia University School of Social Work, Master of Social Work Muhlenberg College, Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Bachelor of Arts in Dance Magna Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa Graduated in 3 Years -- Training: Neurodivergence and 2e: I received training in neurodiversity-affirming and twice-exceptional (2e) therapeutic practices through my work as a psychotherapist at the Chesapeake Center for ADHD, Learning & Behavioral Health from 2021–2025. OCD and Anxiety Disorders: I received training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) from the Anxiety and OCD Treatment Center of Princeton through a year long field education practicum, 2020-2021. Motivational Interviewing (MI): I completed an MI certificate in 2020 through a training course with Columbia University. Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT): I am in the process of completing a certificate in DBT (C-DBT) through Evergreen Certifications. * I am committed to ongoing learning and to integrating current research and best practices into my work. *
