I'm an LCSW and specialize in both working with folks navigating life transitions---from parenthood and fertility journeys, to LGBTQ young adults, to those going through relationship transitions, as well as other stressors and anxiety. I'm a deeply relational, practical, and engaged clinician. I believe in the power of humor to move through difficult times. I'm down-to-earth and realistic in how I approach situations and am excited to work together with you to come up with the tangible shifts to bring the changes that you're looking for. Finding your village while balancing work, daily anxieties and pressures, tumultuous family relationships, or parenting is HARD. Having others to witness and hold your joy and your pain as you navigate life’s transitions can be transformative in our own ability to make sense of this world. I understand that healing, raising children, and reparenting ourselves is a lifelong process that can be challenging even with resources and community. I strongly believe in the power of witnesses and thought partners along this path---please reach out to see if I'm the right fit to walk alongside you! My educational and professional background includes a Master's in Social Welfare from the University of California, Berkeley, as well as two Pupil Personnel Service Credentials and a certificate in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education. In addition to my private practice, I work with a large urban school district to train new social workers and I consult with private and public schools on how to integrate comprehensive mental health supports into their schools.
