Introduction

You look around and think to yourself, what happened? Each day you feel pulled further and further away from the life you thought was yours. Your morning thoughts go something like this: please let my child have a good day at school; who is this person sitting across the table from me and what happened to the one I said "I do" to? how am I ever going to get through this day? It is so tough to maintain strength, hope, and individuality when your family is in distress, your marriage feels like a failure, your teen is unrecognizable, or you're just completely out of energy. I get it! I'm here! Together we can figure this out. My approach is. rooted in empathy, understanding, and evidence-based practices. I hold a neurobiological perspective, meaning that much of what we experience starts in our brain and is within our control. Clients likely to benefit include adults impacted by adverse childhood events, acute stress, and anxiety. Additionally, I have extensive specialized training in play therapy and disorders of childhood, including an advanced degree from the University of Mississippi and 11 years working as a Behavior Specialist in public schools, making me uniquely qualified to work with kids and guide parents in positive-assertive strategies that work. Licensed in both California and Texas, I can provide services to any resident of either state.
