The main goal of Gail's work with clients is the development of a more meaningful, functional, and satisfying life, in keeping with each person's needs and abilities. Focusing on work with adult individuals and couples (including premarital counseling), sessions focus on building trust, through non-judgment, humor, and respect. In formulating a treatment plan in collaboration with you as a client, Gail can utilize a variety of clinical modalities including CBT, DBT, ACT, Motivational Interviewing and Existential Therapy, within a deeply person-centered, trauma-informed approach. Gail works with individuals who are living with depression, anxiety, grief, adjustment issues, relationship conflict, substance use disorders, as well as ADHD and ASD. With client approval, mini-poodle Zinnia will sit in on sessions as a "co-therapist" utilizing her natural gift for empathy. Licensed as an LPC and LADC, Gail holds a Master of Professional Studies in Integrated Behavioral Health from the University of Minnesota.
