Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Gemma C. Quick, LMFT
Specialties: Anxiety, Relationship Issues, Attachment Issues, Chronic Illness, Trauma,

Introduction

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in CA, with a telehealth only practice. I am able to work with clients located in California or Virginia. I have been practicing since 2009 and licensed since 2014. I completed my undergraduate and Masters degrees at USC and the majority of my clinical training at the Maple Counseling Center in Beverly Hills, CA. I utilize both top-down (cognitive) and bottom-up (somatic) approaches to help my clients become more integrated and regulated in relationships, body and mind. I specialize in trauma, intergenerational patterns, parenting, relational dynamics, attachment, anxiety, chronic illness, the nervous system and somatic work. I am currently in training to become a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP) and I have completed the intermediate year. I truly love being a therapist and having the privilege of connecting with people during some of life’s most tender and significant moments. Building a strong and respectful relationship with my clients that honors their own lived experience and expertise is extremely important to me and is foundational to how I approach the therapeutic process. My clients describe me as warm, relatable, helpful, authentic, collaborative and knowledgeable. I look forward to meeting you and helping you connect to the innate wisdom of your own body and mind.
