Introduction

At Premier Therapy Group, we are dedicated to supporting the unique needs of each person, relationship, and family we serve. We assist couples navigating mismatched desire or intimacy to professionals dealing with life transitions and burnout. Our work is grounded in evidence-based practices, including Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for strengthening connection and attachment, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for healing from trauma, and a specialized expertise in sexual health. We integrate these approaches to support healing, deepen understanding, and foster meaningful, lasting change. We honor the complexity of your story and are committed to creating a space where you feel seen, respected, and supported every step of the way. Geoquana McDougal is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a SHEA accredited Sexual Health Expert. She received her bachelor's degree in psychology from North Carolina A&T. She furthered her education receiving a MA in Marriage and Family Therapy from Capella University. Geoquana's clinical interest include working with premarital couples, infidelity, neurodivergences, sexual assault, and addiction. Geoquana offers sex therapy for both couples and individuals. Additionally, she has completed over 60 hours of intensive training in attachment-based couple's therapy EFT. She has also received intensive training in EMDR and Sex Therapy. Geoquana always strives to meet clients where they are in the therapeutic process. Once a relationship is established, she compassionately challenges and collaboratively works with clients to recognize and identify the constraints that might be hindering their goals. She understands how attachments affect relationships and utilizes Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) through a systemic approach to assist clients in being goal oriented. Geoquana loves sports especially basketball and football on both the collegiate and professional level. For fun, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughters as well as traveling.
