If you are looking at my profile, you have already taken one of the hardest steps in recognizing that things have become overwhelming and difficult to manage on your own. Engaging in therapy can help you to feel grounded, focused and allows you to address your stressors and concerns. I have 28 years of experience working in community mental health, college counseling and behavioral health. I specialize in providing support for clients struggling with depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, interpersonal relationship dynamics, trauma histories, work-life balance, grief/loss, religious/spiritual concerns, and feeling disconnected. I bring extensive experience with LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC community members. I have supported individuals navigating the foster care system and adoptions. Also, a particular focus on Men's Issues related to recognizing, understanding, and managing your emotions, as well as the emotions of others, career transitions, sexuality, sexual issues/concerns, stressors related to roles as a caregiver, spouse, partner, father, and professional expectations. I foster a healthy and productive therapeutic relationship with a unique and diverse perspective in which you are greeted and supported with compassion, genuineness, and non-judgement. I incorporate a multicultural perspective & have experience working with first generational immigrants and imposter syndrome. I provide an objective, supportive, respectful space for all individuals, regardless of sexual orientation, cultural, spiritual belief systems or practices.
