I specialize in relationships, trauma, grief, religious trauma, anxiety, identity development, self-esteem, and life transitions. For as long as I can remember, I have always been a sensitive person. When friends and family shared their pain and emotions, I felt them deeply. Looking back at my life experiences and the different jobs and careers I pursued, I can trace a line across all of them: a profound care for people’s internal experiences and an endless curiosity about why they viewed life the way they did. I believe therapy is one of the very few places where people can come to unmask, if they so choose. In doing so, we can begin the worthwhile journey of uncovering what’s underneath the layers we’ve been holding up and crafting a life that feels fully our own rather than one based entirely on the narratives we grew up with. My work is especially meaningful to me when supporting women and women-identified individuals who are questioning who they are, redefining societal or family expectations, and searching for a more authentic way of relating to themselves and others.
