Introduction

Hey there, I'm Gertie. I specialize in working with women who are ready to increase self-esteem, grow through life’s challenges, and take ownership of their stories. If you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of how to move forward, therapy can be a powerful space to reconnect with your strengths and rediscover your voice. I believe that you are the expert on your own life. My role is to walk alongside you with compassion, curiosity, and respect—offering support, tools, and insight without judgment. Times may be challenging; together we’ll focus on what matters most to you, and work toward meaningful, lasting change. I believe in implementing an integrated treatment approach. No two people are the same, and having the ability to pull from several different models is invaluable. Ideally, we would work together to find the psychotherapy modality that makes sense for your specific needs. I focus on empowering others, so many interventions from ACT, CBT, and DBT are heavy on realistic solutions and improving life.
