Given several comical occurrences lately, I feel it might be better if I start out by saying I am not in high school or college. I've done a ton of educating, and while I wish I could be a student for life, just is not in the cards, at least now. That being said, and with awareness I do not at all look my age...I swear to you, I just turned 40 and my DOB is 9/10/85. :) Now that you know the almost 15 years of being a therapist and one who is mid-aged at 40, will be holding experience, dedication, ecclectic approaches to best fight many needs. I remind everyone this tho - this is a practice, just like Medicine is a pratice. I am constantly learning and always welome good or bad or indifferent feedback. Don't hold back -- this is to help and heal you! Now, to the real good stuff!: Each day I wake, I gently remind myself to give myself grace to be fully myself. I invite you to gently lean into this notion, trying it on yourself. I’m a strength and compassion-focused Gestalt-trained and trauma-informed therapist. Part of our work is co-created by leaning in, learning to be aware of our feelings, and recognizing ways we lose ourselves and contact with the world around us. I’m here with a flashlight to find YOURself and YOUR truth. Remember, YOU are always in charge. I invite you to join me on this journey, gently yet firmly taking each step in the here and now, while gently listening to what inner YOU needs, wants (or not), and any/all hopes and dreams. The destination we go is co-created by our work: looking within, staying grounded, finding validation of where we are in this journey, of which I am always here for as much, or as little, support and guidance along the way. My hope is helping you along your journey in attempt to find your chosen path to your wholeness, and walking together with curiosity to co-create and find that grace that allows you to be fully you.
