Introduction

Finding meaning in your hardest days is often challenging, whether it's following a devastating loss, or finding your place in the world-it can seem like there is always something to unpack. Your story is a complex one, and I want to hear all of it. I specialize in grief. So much of what we experience in our lives is grief. Whether it is losing someone important, a relationship, a version of ourselves, managing health issues, or transitioning into the next chapter of life; my role in your story is one centered around creating a nonjudgemental space for you to explore wherever you land. We won't shy away from what is happening in the world around you and how it is impacting your life, or what it may be bringing up for you. We can be real people in session and explore what that means in today's worldly landscape. You are the expert in your life experiences, and I am here to help you sort through it all. I engage my clients with metaphor, relatability, and gentle directness to find themes and gain context as the basis of their life narrative. Our work together is a collaborative effort; it will channel creativity, honesty, and perspective. I ask a lot of my clients because I know they can do things they had never dreamed of. My approach fosters curiosity, humor, and empowerment to help you navigate what you are facing. Identity as a practitioner: I am a queer, neurodiverse, chronically ill, mixed-Caribbean, millennial child of immigrants. I utilize Gestalt, Attachment-based, Narrative, Somatic, and Relational approaches through a trauma-informed, healing centered, intersectional, and liberation centered lens.
