Introduction

Hello and welcome! It can be hard to admit that you need help, and even harder to find a therapist you really connect with. Thank you for giving me the chance to fill that role! I am passionate about helping clients reach their goals and improve their life. I specialize in the treatment of depression and other mood disorders, self-harm, suicidal ideation, anxiety disorders, problematic sexual behaviors, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), post-traumatic symptoms, supporting survivors of human trafficking, and supporting survivors of relationship, domestic, and interpersonal abuse. Additionally, I have experience working with individuals diagnosed with psychotic disorders, personality disorders (including antisocial, narcissistic, avoidant, and borderline personality disorders), as well as those exhibiting oppositional or disruptive behavior. I also support clients facing everyday challenges and seeking guidance in managing day-to-day stressors. I bring experience across multiple levels of care, including community-based and in-home services, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient settings. In a previous leadership role, I also provided mentorship and clinical guidance to a team of fellow therapists. I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals from age 4 through 60 and beyond, tailoring support to meet each stage of life. I like to use an individualized approach to therapy, working with my clients to figure out what kind of treatment works best for them. I use a variety of treatment techniques, such as psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral (CBT) and trauma-focused cognitive behavior (TF-CBT), dialectical behavioral (DBT), expressive arts, mindfulness, strengths-based therapy, exposure and response prevention (ERP), and play therapy to help clients gain skills that they can use throughout their life. I provide a safe, non-judgemental, comfortable space for healing. I believe that there is always room to grow and learn, and I make it a goal to teach my clients something during every session. I meet clients where they're at, and use harm-reduction strategies to help folks reach their mental health goals. When I’m not working, I like playing with makeup, binge watching bad reality T.V., and playing with my pets.
