Introduction

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I enjoy working with families, children, adolescents and adults. I hope to be a guiding voice for those who are brave enough to reach out for help and willing to work towards attaining their goals as well as those who are struggling and need guidance toward the light out of the darkness. My approach to therapy involves using my own life experiences and curiosity to empathize and validate my client(s). I walk alongside you, help you process, and assist you in learning the tools and skills you need to attain your treatment goals. My main goals are that clients know I will give them my full attention, demonstrate that I'm invested in their wellbeing, and be assured that I am with you every step of the way. I want my clients to graduate from therapy feeling like you no longer need it because you've learned the tools and skills you need to make it on your own. Before becoming part of the Olive Leaf family, I received my B.S. in Social Psychology with an emphasis on human development and an M.A. in Couple and Family Therapy. I am also Trauma-Focused CBT certified, and have extensive experience with DBT and Attachment Theory. I can also provide EMDR therapy (training, working towards certification).
