There is so much more going on than our cognitive minds tell us. If you are interested in getting into the body, nervous system and heart, I create a space for us to do that together. What happens in our moment-to-moment experience, especially when we're trying to relate to other people? Where is there tension, dullness, openness, vitality? What does it mean to be authentic and intimate with ourselves and others? Paradoxically, it is when we accept ourselves exactly as we are now— no matter what may be happening— that we naturally begin to grow and change. I am a highly relational clinician, and I pay close attention to what occurs between us in the therapy room. My style is authentic and transparent. I will often slow us down, inviting curiosity into the present moment, with the aim of increasing awareness of what is here and now— sensations, emotions, images, memories, thought patterns, longings, etc. This work takes real courage, but with time and patience it can yield profound and meaningful change. I'm looking forward to speaking with you!
