Introduction

With over 30 years of experience as a counselor and 4 years as a licensed supervisor, Glenda brings a wealth of expertise to her practice. Specializing in trauma, dissociation disorders, faith-based counseling, spiritual abuse, grief, and family of origin issues, Glenda offers individual and couple's counseling, as well as family systems therapy. Her training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), SYMBIS and Gottman Marital Counseling, and ADHD counseling, combined with her eclectic approach rooted in Adlerian theory, allows her to tailor treatment to each client's unique needs. Having established a private practice in the DFW metroplex over 28 years ago, Glenda's vision became a reality when she founded Open Doors Life Center in 2020. Her dream was to create a healing space that addresses the whole being, where clients can receive comprehensive support, and where coaches and counselors find joy in working collaboratively as a team. Clients often remark that the center exudes a peaceful atmosphere, which serves as the greatest compliment to Glenda and her team. Glenda is dedicated to providing the support and guidance you need on your journey towards healing and growth. If you are interested in booking an appointment with her or one of our compassionate counselors or coaches, or if you are an LPC-Associate seeking in-person or virtual supervision, please reach out to us at 817.479-3105.
