Welcome! I’m Glenda Hayes, LPC, Licensed Professional Counselor, and I’m dedicated to helping children, adolescents, and Senior adults navigate life’s challenges with compassion, understanding, and support. With more than 20 years of experience in education, school counseling, and private practice, I bring a unique perspective to counseling. I have worked within school systems as a school counselor and have also provided services in private practice, giving me extensive experience working with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds. I specialize in working with children and adolescents ages 3–18, as well as older adults ages 65 and up. My areas of focus include play therapy, art therapy, ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, stress, and life transitions. For children, I believe therapy should feel safe, welcoming, and age-appropriate. Through play, creativity, and therapeutic activities. For older adults, I provide a supportive environment to address loneliness, grief, life changes, stress, and adjustment, that can accompany aging. My goal is to build a trusting therapeutic relationship, and help develop the tools and confidence to move forward. You don’t have to face life’s challenges alone. I’m here to help you discover a path toward greater emotional well-being. ****For GROUP Art Therapy: DO NOT REQUEST APPOINTMENT.
