Introduction

Grace is a warm and compassionate therapist who deeply believes in the power of a collaborative and positive therapeutic relationship. She is committed to meeting clients where they are, and providing an authentic, nonjudgmental, and supportive space for growth. Grace has experience working with individuals to navigate a wide range of concerns, including trauma, grief, anxiety, panic, depression, identity concerns, and relationship issues. With exploration of existential themes and the occasional use of humor, she uses an integrative approach to help provide insight, support, and guidance. Rooted in existential-humanistic theory, Grace incorporates tools from multiple modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT), parts work, and narrative therapy. She is committed to remaining client-led and person-centered while helping you to achieve your therapeutic goals. Grace holds a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from The Chicago School. She is committed to providing inclusive and affirming care, prioritizing and celebrating diversity, and creating positive change in individual’s and the world at large. She holds a special interest in exploring existential themes through the arts and enjoys working with creative individuals. Grace is a part of the queer community, takes a sex-positive approach, and is kink and poly-affirming. Grace is a Licensed Professional Counselor and supervised by Ashley Homa.
