Greg Hoefler, LPCC, is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with more than 30 years of experience helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life's challenges. He earned his Master of Counseling (M.C.) from Arizona State University and has worked in community mental health, private practice, and hospital settings, providing compassionate, evidence-based care to clients across a wide range of ages and concerns. Greg is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and couples counseling, tailoring his approach to meet each client's unique needs and goals. He currently serves as an outpatient therapist at Akron Children's Hospital and also provides counseling services at Effective Counseling Solutions on Monday evenings and Saturdays. Greg is passionate about creating a supportive, judgment-free environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives. Having personally experienced major life transitions, career changes, family illness, and loss, he understands that life's obstacles can feel overwhelming. Those experiences have strengthened his empathy and allow him to connect with clients in an authentic and compassionate way. Greg believes that healing begins with a trusting therapeutic relationship and is dedicated to helping each person discover their strengths, overcome barriers, and build a path toward lasting emotional wellness and hope.
